Reinventing the way collectors enjoy art digitally post COVID.

The Opportunity

Alessandro and Emilia are two art-loving entrepreneurs based in the UK. They work with various investment funds and are active in the UK corporate/finance world.

When COVID came along, their aim was to create a platform that would help collectors connect, talk, trade and sell art. After an initial phase, the model included the full involvement of galleries and exhibitions. There was a lot of strategy already planned and a long vision described, but they needed help.

The Exploration

The startup world is simple: everything is always in a hurry. What is the trade-off I could create value based on what was needed most?

Artscapy needed an identity strong enough to position itself in the marketplace, one that visually (UI) and conceptually (UX) distinguished the competitive advantage we wanted to offer and the unique market model.

Brand Design

Branding is a big word, but in a world that is becoming more and more design-conscious, it was natural for me to create a brand. Especially considering the audience of people we were targeting.

On the complete study of the brand, I worked side by side with Dario, a friend and trusted collaborator.

Refactoring & Design System

With an extremely lean approach, before involving engineers too early in something we weren't sure about, we sat down to figure out exactly what we needed as boxes and then as content
